Stainless Steels
In the atmosphere and acid, alkali, salt and other corrosive medium appears passivity, corrosion resistant and not rusty high chromium alloy (commonly 12% ~ 12%).
Refers to stainless steel resistant to weak corrosive medium such as air, steam, water and acid, alkali, salt and other chemical etching medium corrosion of steel, also known as stainless acid-resisting steel. In practical applications, often called the weak corrosive medium corrosion resistant steel stainless steel, and will be referred to as the acid resistance to chemical corrosion medium of steel steel. Due to the chemical composition on the difference between the two, the former may not resistant to chemical corrosion medium, while the latter are generally not rust. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel depends on the alloy elements contained in steel. Stainless steel alloy elements and basic nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen, etc., to meet the various USES of stainless steel organization and performance requirements. Stainless steel easy to chlorine ion corrosion, because of the chromium, nickel, chlorine is isotopic elements and isotopic elements will be swapping assimilation to form the corrosion of stainless steel.
